Morning Conferences and Planning Sessions

These talks show new perspectives in the understanding and approach to managing deformities in Children and Adults. Additionally, there is ample discussion and alternatives for initial management of treatment in complex trauma, reconstructive surgeries, complications, and sequelae of Orthopedics.

The course is progressive, from simple deformities in the frontal, sagittal and oblique planes to the most complex multi-level deformities, with angulation, rotation, translation and shortening components. A wide variety of Osteotomy techniques, specific methods in the hip, knee, ankle and foot are discussed. Participants learn about minimally invasive internal fixation methods including nails, LCP systems and external fixation with circular and monolateral fixators, multiplane correctors.

The universal Planning method is used with directed interactive sessions, practical exercises in illustrated examples and group workshops of various techniques on plastic bone.
